The Worldwide Canvass

I’m on top of the world right now. I’ve got a very special date for Friday night! I can’t believe she said yes! I’ve had my eye on this woman for awhile. She’s a very successful and sophisticated St. Louis bankruptcy attorney. I really didn’t know how that was going to go. Everything went so much better than I expected. She even laughed over some of my silly jokes. That is another good sign. Not everyone understands my sense of humor, but she got it right away. I think I can just tell we’re going to have a good time together. I’m actually looking forward to this date. I’ve had so many disappointing dates in the last few months that I thought I was done with dating for awhile. Then I saw her and it changed everything! I’m going to call up my buddies in a little while and tell them the good news. They know I’ve been interested in this woman for awhile and they all wanted to know how it went. I think they’ll all be shocked. They really said they couldn’t picture her wanting to go out with someone like me. I guess it just goes to show that you never know and it doesn’t hurt to ask!
