The Worldwide Canvass

Oh my gosh! I am so excited right now! I just got a letter in the mail from my boyfriend along with New York Yankees tickets! Once I saw whom the letter was from I practically tore it open. I couldn’t tell if I was more excited about the fact that my boyfriend wrote me a lovely letter or if I was this elated because of the tickets! This means so much to me. The Yankees are our absolute favorite team. They have a special significance to both of us. It was at a New York Yankees game where we met for the first time. Since then, we’ve had a long history of going to games together. We’ve taken away so many memories and special moments from these games. The letter and gesture of the tickets also means so much to me because I have really been missing my boyfriend right now. He is currently working overseas on business. I never thought I would have the strength to handle a long-distance relationship, but I think the love we both share for each other is proving me wrong. The New York Yankees tickets mean I will be seeing him soon! I will be counting down the days on my calendar until I can see him again!
