SERIOUS HELP NEEDED:Newcastle, Australia better than Christchurch, New Zealand? or is it the other way around?
Alright so Im studying abroad next semester/yr and im between these two places as my second choice (forced to have one): University of Newcastle and University of Canterbury. My first choice would be the best place for me, but just in case I need a GOOD backup.
Im an art studio major: photography and so I would prefer to go to a university that will actually teach me something rather than “re-introduce” techniques. Both schools seem to have somewhat similar photo programs in traditional as well as digital. All I know about both areas is what I can see on net/book images and what Ive read/heard about. Both places seem to be beautiful, architecture seems really nice and theyre both by beaches !
If you have good/real information about these places that you think are important I would love to hear it. From things to do –> how good the programs are. If youre a resident I would love it even more !
Christchurch of course. A beautiful city although be prepared for a cold winter.
